Biography: Valquiria Bueno is working as a Associate Professor (Immunology) at UNIFESP – Federal University of Sao Paulo, Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology, since 2006. She completed her Post-doc at University of Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital under supervision of Kathryn Wood: Evaluation of CD8+ T cell after allograft transplantation in mice (1999-2001) with Brazilian financial support (FAPESP). Her research areas of interest are ageing, immunosenescence, cancer, nutrition, autoimmunity, transplantation.
